Buying a Firearm Online and Picking Up at Local FFL

Step by Step Guide

Step 1: Browse & Select Your Firearm

Browse our selection of available firearms or contact us directly if you are looking for a specific firearm.

Ensure the firearm you want is legal in your state before purchasing.

Add the firearm to your cart and proceed to checkout.

Step 2: Choose Your Local FFL for Transfer

Firearms must be shipped to a licensed FFL dealer near you.

If you don’t already have an FFL in mind, you can:

Find a local gun shop, pawn shop, or shooting range that handles firearm transfers.
Contact your chosen FFL and confirm they will accept the transfer.
Some FFLs may charge a transfer fee (typically $20-$50, but varies).

Step 3: Provide FFL Information

Contact us via email with your chosen FFL’s name and contact details.
If we don’t already have their FFL license on file, either you or your FFL must send us a copy at mtmunitions@icloud.com.

Step 4: complete your purchase

Finalize your order by making payment.

You will receive an order confirmation and updates on shipping.

Step 5: Firearm ships to your ffl

We will process and ship your firearm to your selected FFL. Tracking information will be provided once it ships. Shipping times vary based on location and carrier delays.

Step 6: Pick Up Your Firearm at Your FFL

Once your FFL receives the firearm, bring the following:

A valid government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License, State ID, or Military ID).
Any additional state-required permits (if applicable).

Step 7: Background Check and Form 4473

At the FFL:

You must complete ATF Form 4473 (Firearms Transaction Record).

The FFL will conduct a background check (NICS check):

Approved – You can take the firearm home immediately.
Delayed – There may be a waiting period before pickup.
Denied – You will not be able to take possession, and the firearm must be returned (restocking fees may apply).
